Biography: Enrique Hernández Orallo obtained his Computer Engineering degree in 1992 and his Ph.D. in 2001 from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He has been working for ten years in several companies in real-time projects and telecommunications networks. Now, is an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering in the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He is also member of the Industrial Informatics and Real-Time Systems Research Group. He has participated in several Spanish and European projects. Currently, he is working in the European Project Frescor (FP6/2005/IST/5-034026) and the Spanish Thread project (TIN2005-08665-C03-03). He is author of about 15 journal and conference papers and co-author of two successful books of C++ in Spanish language. His areas of interest include distributed systems, real-time systems, multimedia and Object-Oriented Programming. He is now mainly working in QoS provisioning and routing for Real-Time Transmission.
